Ian Adams - Principal Planner

Ian has over twenty-six (26) years experience in Urban & Regional Planning, having worked with both Local Councils and private consultancy firms. Ian was established as an accredited consultant for Brisbane City Council, RiskSMART program for fast-tracked development approvals in 2008. He is also an accredited consultant for Logan City Council for RiskSMART assessment of development applications. In 2015 he was accredited by Brisbane City Council as a SealSMART consultant to fast track compliance assessment and survey plan sealing.
Ian has extensive experience in the evaluation of development potential and planning scheme requirements, has high level project management skills and is able to undertake development feasibilities and due diligence. Ian also has a strong track record in the achievement of approvals for Residential, Industrial, Commercial and mixed use development proposals.
Ian has substantial experience in negotiation to achieve positive outcomes for his clients, as an expert witness in planning and environment court appeals, extensive knowledge with the administration of planning and development related legislations.

Lee Morrison - Business & Accounts Manager
Lee joined The Planning Place in August 2004.
Lee is our Business and Accounts Manager for the firm looking after all quality assurance and business systems, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, debt collection, and bookkeeping. She also ensures workplace health and safety measures and other business reporting requirements are met by the firm.
